Northland Faculty Complete Workshop on Accessibility

Six faculty from Northland recently completed the Quality Matters workshop “Addressing Accessibility”. This workshop provides faculty with information about the challenges students with physical disabilities face in a course that uses digital or online materials. The workshop provided many ideas and resources for what faculty can do to create materials that are accessible for all students. Faculty who completed the workshop included:

Bonnie Andrys
Peggy Rogers
Dorinda Sorvig
Linda Samuelson
Farah Rahnama
Elizabeth McMahon

Training Opportunities – Fall 2012

Those interested in registering for QM workshops should contact me for more information.  Minnesota Online will be subsidizing the cost of APPQMR workshops that are offered through MOQI (Minnesota Online Quality Initiative) – this brings the cost of a seat in an online or face-to-face training to $55 for this workshop.  MnOnline will also be subsidizing a limited number of seats for Peer Reviewer and Master Reviewer training which will reduce the cost for that training by 50%.

Contact me for details about how to get registered into these training opportunities at the lower rate.  A complete calendar can be viewed here:
